When it is not possible to deliver your products to you within the predetermined time, we will inform you via e-mail, so you can let us know if you wish, under these circumstances, to go through with your order. The Sole Proprietorship IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS does not bear any responsibility for any situation that is not its own fault and will do everything humanly possible to provide you with the best service.
The online store galanakisequip.gr cannot guarantee that products are available but guarantees to inform final consumers in good time if products are not available.
In no case is the IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS Sole Proprietorship online store responsible for any claims of a legal or civil and/or criminal nature or for any claims for damage (for example material, special or monetary damage, which may for example consist of loss of profits, data, unrealised profits, monetary satisfaction, etc.) made by visitors to the website or by third parties which result from a reason related to the operation or not and/or the use of the website and/or inability to provide services or/and the information made available on it and/or any unauthorised interference by third parties in products and/or services and/or information made available through it. 10. ORDERING PRODUCTS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION
Orders through the online store www.galanakisequip.gr are distance selling contracts which are governed by the legal framework of Law 2251/1994, as in force, and by the legal framework of other applicable Greek and EU legislation.
As a Supplier, IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS Sole Proprietorship will, at no cost to you, provide you with every possible assistance relating to meeting the terms of the guarantee that comes with your product. This is independent of maintenance services outwith the guarantee which we can undertake on a case by case basis and with the relevant current charge.
If a product is defective or you are not completely satisfied with it please contact our company directly via e-mail at [email protected] and give your email the subject DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, or contact us by phone at 2810336571. The customer service department will make a record of your problem and if required, will inform you of the product return process.
The Sole Proprietorship IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS has all the obligations to you which are set out in the Civil Code as being obligations of the seller. In particular, if a product we sell is defective you can (a) request that it is repaired at no cost to you or that it is replaced with another unless this is impossible or doing so incurs disproportionate costs (b) request a reduction in price and (c) withdraw from the contract, unless it is an insignificant defect. The above obligations do not apply in the event that you caused the defect, or that it was caused by force majeure in a narrow or broad sense.
You are able to place a valid order through the e-shop if you are legally competent in terms of the Greek Civil Code, (if you have reached the age of eighteen and you are not placed under judicial guardianship regarding entering into sales agreements). Orders can also be placed by representatives of legal entities, while the Sole Proprietorship IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS reserves the right to demand that the supervisor or guardian of any person without legal competence returns any order made by that person.

You do not need to create an account to use or make purchases from www.galanakisenergy.com. If you choose to create an account you will be asked for the following information:

The above information does not appear to the public. Your name only appears when you log in with your password, which only you know. Filling in the above information makes it very easy to make your online purchases as you do not have to fill in the order form every time. You can also track the progress of your order, as well as the history of all your orders. Your order is completed when you unconditionally accept these Terms of Use and when your order is Submitted fully.
When you have completed your order, an e-mail will be sent to you with confirmation that your order has been received and with your order number. Another e-mail will follow informing you about the delivery of your order. For this reason you must give us a real email that belongs to you because all our communication will be done via the e-mail that you stated when you registered.

Then you can continue with your shopping, by going to the main categories and selecting the category you are looking for and then selecting the next item you want and adding it to your cart as well. If you don’t want to buy a product in the cart you can add it to your Wish List on our online store so you can find it easily on our online store and you can take the time you need to think about it before you buy.
11. Withdrawal / Return – Product Replacement
A basic condition for products to be returned is that they have not been worn or damaged and that their packaging is in its original condition and not torn or destroyed. Any doubt the customer may have about the quantity of products delivered is only accepted at the time the products are received and not after the delivery vehicle has left. Any differences between the products that the customer receives and any samples or the photographic material or written descriptions given by the Company or in any other way, will be accepted by the customer without any claim for compensation or right of return. Any complaints by the customer about the quality, packaging or any other characteristics of the products are only accepted by the Company if they are expressed in writing within 3 days from the date the products are received and in all cases before they have been used.
Returns are only accepted after written agreement with the Company and are accepted no later than 14 days from the day of receipt. The returned products must be in the same condition as when originally delivered. You can see a sample of the statement of withdrawal from the contract here.
You are not entitled to withdraw from the contract in the cases under Article 3b of Law 2251/94 or in any other case where this is provided by law or by these terms and conditions in accordance with the Law. The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases: a) the supply of goods manufactured to specifications that you have set as a consumer or which are clearly personalized and b) products that you have modified.
Transport, assembly and other additional services are non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse a product return or replacement. The customer undertakes to return the goods to the company warehouse. For products that are given as “Available On Order” the company orders the exact quantity that the customer has ordered and for this reason changes, cancellations, returns are not accepted.

If you cannot return the products you have purchased with a delivery service yourself, our partner shipping company can return them for you at an additional cost. The charge for transporting your products depends on your postal code and the volume of goods. You are responsible for the cost of returning the products. In any case, the products you wish to return must be accompanied by the necessary legal documents and receipts. You agree to take care of the condition of the returned products from the moment they are delivered to you until the moment you deliver them to the IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS store or to the transport company or the courier company. If they are not returned within 14 days, then the Sole Proprietorship IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS does not have to accept any product for return or replacement. As well as the rights provided by the returns policy, all consumers rights under the existing provisions and laws relating to the contract of sale are always recognised, as are any rights arising in connection with the product warranty terms.
If you meet the return conditions, we will refund the amount corresponding to the value of the goods you returned in the same way that you made the original transaction (credit card, bank deposit), unless you wish us to return the money in another way which you will have to let us know in writing. The refund for returned products will be made as soon as possible providing the goods are in an excellent condition. The refund will be made to the account indicated by the customer.

If a product needs to be repaired our company will repair it at an additional cost. We will inform you about the extra charge after we receive and evaluate the product, without any charge for shipping.
The Sole Proprietorship IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS does not bear any responsibility for any loss or damage of the product while being transported as a return.
If the products are returned damaged, the Sole Proprietorship IOANNIS D. GALANAKIS has the right to request compensation from the customer. The amount of the compensation will be determined by the condition of the products and the company can unilaterally offset its claim against the customer’s claim.
